Dry Hydrant concerns-  During our unprecedentedly dry summer, with water levels at an all time low, it was observed that the dry hydrant was not providing sufficient water for the purposes of the Fire Department

Update Jan 26- The Board has met with the Fire Department, several times. During the most recent testing By the F.D. the hydrant provided water within 20 seconds. 

Update June 4- The Board had a call with Bruce Fraser, Mount Uniacke Fire Department on Thursday June 4th and he provided the following update:
"After testing the hydrant various times over the past couple of months, I can confidently say that the dry hydrant at Loon Point is operational and available for use when required"
